| Kathy is a senior at Bangor Theological Seminary, studying for her Master of Divinity degree with concentrations in pastoral care and small church ministry. Throughout the year, she travels to Bangor and Portland to take classes. She plans to graduate in May 2009. Kathy's youth and family centered focus well fit the position she served prior to our church when she was Youth and Family Minister for a local congregation. | ![]() |

Kathy loves the outdoors in all weather, enjoying kayaking, canoeing, cross country skiing, hiking and walking the dogs. She is also quite content to curl up in front of the fire reading or researching family history. She and her husband, Steve, have made their home in Bremen, in the old Medomak schoolhouse on Medomak Road.
Prior to her Ministry position at the Bremen Union Church in She has volunteered with local youth groups &mdash Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Sunday school,Vacation Bible School... Recently she served an area church as Youth and Family Minister. And for six months she served as our student co pastor. Perhaps you met her last summer in the reading and craft programs at Skidompha Library. A senior at Bangor Theological Seminary, she hopes to earn her Masters of Divinity with concentration on pastoral care and small church ministry by May of 2009. Kathy sees the community church as a family of God, gathered to encourage one another in the journey of Christian discipleship. We live out that discipleship by gathering to share times of worship, education and fellowship, which lead us as disciples to serve the community and the world. The Bremen Union Church, as an independent church unaffiliated with any denomination, is open to all those who are searching for a faith community, regardless of whether or not you have any church background or have come from a specific tradition or denomination. Among our faithful members are those from Baptist, Congregational, Methodist, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic, Episcopal, United Church of Christ, Quaker and United Brethren backgrounds. |
